Eligibility
- The short film awards are open to filmmakers aged 18 years and above.
- The film must be an original creation, and the participant must hold the necessary rights to submit it for consideration.
- The awards are open to both individuals and teams, but each entry must have a designated primary contact person.
Submission Guidelines
- Films must be submitted in the specified format as outlined by the awards organizers.
- Each participant or team may submit only one entry.
- Submissions must be received by the designated deadline. Late entries will not be considered.
- The film should adhere to the specified duration limit, which will be communicated in the guidelines.
- The film may be submitted with subtitles if it is in a language other than the official language(s) of the awards.
Content Restrictions
- Films must not contain any material that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or otherwise offensive.
- The film must not infringe upon any copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights of any third party.
- The film should not promote any specific religious, political, or commercial agenda.
Judging and Selection
- The judging panel will evaluate the submitted films based on criteria specified by the awards organizers, such as creativity, storytelling, technical quality, and originality.
- The selection of winning entries will be at the sole discretion of the judging panel, and their decision will be final.
- The awards organizers reserve the right not to select any winners if they feel that the entries do not meet the required standards.
Intellectual Property
- By participating in the short film awards, the participant retains the copyright and ownership of their film.
- However, the participant grants the awards organizers a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to publicly display, distribute, and promote the film for the purpose of the awards, including but not limited to screenings, marketing, and online platforms.
Publicity and Promotion
The participant agrees to allow their name, likeness, and film information to be used for promotional purposes by the awards organizers without any additional compensation
Disqualification
- Any participant found to be in violation of the terms and conditions or engaging in unethical practices will be disqualified from the awards.
- The awards organizers reserve the right to disqualify or revoke any award given if it is subsequently discovered that the participant has breached any rules or submitted false information.
Indemnification
Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the awards organizers, their affiliates, sponsors, and partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the participation in the awards or the screening of their film.
Refund
No refund will be made for the Payment made for registration.
Amendments and Modifications
The awards organizers reserve the right to modify or amend any of the terms and conditions, including the submission deadlines, rules, or award categories, at their discretion. Participants will be notified of any changes.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the awards are organized. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
Participants are advised to carefully read and understand these terms and conditions before submitting their films for the awards.
